PadmaVibhushan R.K.Laxman, India's best known political cartoonist turned cartoons into art masterpieces with his brush strokes and tongue-in-cheek humour. In a career spanning over 50 years, most of it at the Times of India, R.K.Laxman has been constant in the common man's life with his take on the changing times, not just in the field of politics, but society,in general.India became addicted to his daily feature 'You said it" and the endearing common man that represented the typical Indian man, with his characteristics, trials and tribulations.
