Paul Lyons is an‘illustratist’ and editor of the horror-themed comic book ‘Monster’,published by Providence. The book features a collection of  Providence’s most well known comic artists.

Paul Lyons was a founding member of Fort Thunder, a genre of comics spawned from the artists' collaborative house in Rhode Islands. With a distinctly ‘punk feel’, Fort Thunder was a house that hosted live shows in its heyday and many of its artists have also gone on to illustrate albums or other music paraphernalia.

Most of the collection is made up of experimental comics, that can at times be incomprehensible, like dreams or nightmares.
